For those of you who don’t know what has been happening down at the Brighton Coalition – you have been missing out! Since its opening, this revamped venue (ex-Beach Club) has been transformed into a hot, heaving Latin experience every Tuesday night.
The night starts off with salsa and merengue lessons hosted by the SalsaBrighton team, AaronGeorge, Jimmy lobe, Maykel Mora, Amber Davis, , Imti Deen, and various guest teachers. The party only kicks off at about 10:30pm and keeps everyone dancing till the early hours of the morning.
LATIN FEVER has gone from strength to strength, with numbers now peaking at over 600people on a weekly basis. There is no cover charge, there are great drink promotions (Brahma £2, £1.50 Tequila/Sambuca, etc.) and line up of DJs firing up the night from Jimmy Lobe, Aaron G, Miriam (from Wednesdays at Casablanca) and co. are there to make sure you are either shaking your booty on the dance floor or just kicking back and enjoying the vibes, from salsa to merengue, reggaeton, RnB. house and loads more. There’s a little bit of something for everyone. Recently we have even had DJ Nalduss from Brazil come down to spin some Brazilian beats, AND we’ve now opened Room 2 for all those salsa/merengue fanatics so if you’re not one of those reggaeton/urban kind of people, you still got something to dance to!
