A fantastic and rare opportunity to preview the hottest and newest sounds from Latin Jazz pianist Alex Wilson’s latest album Salsa con Soul before the official launch this October.

Dance til you drop to the UK’s undisputed master of Latin jazz, pianist/bandleader Alex Wilson and the powerful vocals of Aquilla Fearon (as heard on Alex’s previous album, Inglaterra).

Expect an uproariously danceable set of Alex Wilson classics - such as Show Me and Ain't Nobody and the unstoppable dance floor anthem R&B Latino - alongside tracks from the new album. The evening kicks off with salsa workshops for all levels to get you up to speed with the latest moves. Top salsa record spinner, DJ Lubi provides the non-live sounds.

This event is part of GDA's special four day dance and music celebration on Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 September 2008 celebrations to mark the launch of the Cultural Olympiad in Greenwich.
